Monday, 19th of January. The beginning of a new series of articles on Luxury Yachts. From now on, every Monday Luxury Yachts team will present you the Luxury Yacht of the Week. This week, the chosen one is AZZAM Super Yacht. AZZAM is a 180.00m  (590’6″ ft) luxury yacht, considered one of the largest superyacht in the world. Launched by Lurssen Yachts, one of the world’s leading shipyard for large luxury yacht building.

The project was developed from an original concept with the overall requirements in regard to general layout, performance, size and exterior style by Eng. Mubarak Saad al Ahbabi.

Azzam’s technical engineering was developed by Lurssen, her interior styling by Christophe Leoni and her exterior design by Nauta Yachts, the result – a challenging and complex yacht ever built.

The superyacht Azzam breaks new ground in many ways, in terms of her technology, dimensions, and performance. As well as being the largest yacht in the world at an unprecedented 180 meters and still being able to reach top speeds of over 30 knots, she also adds another record in regards to building time having spent a mere three years in build following one year of engineering.
