The iconic yacht designers are celebrating its 40th anniversary with the release of a new yacht that recalls James Bond’s presence in the Bahamas.

Moonraker is the name of the luxury motor yacht that will cross the sea of Bahamas later in this year, at the time that Burgess anniversary coincides with the release of the new James Bond film, Spectre.

The luxury motor yacht Moonraker reaches speeds of 40 knots and can host up to nine guests with its four cabins. Altough Burgess Yachts haven’t yet to make an official statement to the press, John Casey, senior vice president of Havas Public Relations, a luxury lifestyle expert, said:

“The character of James Bond is iconic, known for his intelligence and sophistication, much like the purveyors and users of yachts. At this time of year, highlighting escaping on a yacht during cold snaps or blizzards seems like an ideal way to get luxury consumers to think about chartering a yacht in warm locales”

Traveling to the Bahamas in style on the Moonraker is likely to make any consumer feel as if they were in a James Bond movie.
