1. Czyzewski-Design released images of their new concept yacht that looks like it’s straight out of Star Wars. Currently, there are no specifications on the yacht’s length.
2. Xhibitionist: What the helipad? Yacht and car designer Edward Gray combined his passions to create the Xhibitionist, a yacht with a fold-out helipad and sports-car styling.
3. Wally Why: If Wally wanted to surprise the yachting industry, it would debut a yacht that looked, well, like a yacht. For the past two decades, company founder and president, Luca Bassani Anitvari, has unveiled designs for sailboats that look like motor yachts and motor yachts that look like jet planes. Then came his plans for Wally Why. Powered by electric motors, this 190-foot yacht with a 124-foot beam boasts room for 16 guests and a 24 person crew. Initial renderings show Wally Why with a modern feng shui interior and enormous oversized windows that will help guests feel one with the water. Wally Why’s 14 water toys/tenders also accomplish that goal. Antivari already has his design and development team standing by to begin building once a prospective client comes forward. 4. Orsos Island: The ability to escape to your own private island isn’t a new fantasy, but it may soon be available in ways we never dreamed possible. Check out this self-sustaining 10,000-square-foot yacht-island recently released by Orsos Island GmbH.
5. Jazz: We know, we know — we’re not sure how to describe it, either. This 420-foot concept superyacht has been described as everything from skeletal to a bird’s nest.
