Over the past couple of years, the yachting industry has been seeing the strong collaboration of some of the world’s best manufacturers, including the likes of Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and Bugatti Ninette. Now, it’s time for Lexus to enter the field as the brand as recently unveiled its very first major luxury yacht production, the Lexus LY 650 yacht.
The 65-foot vessel was first announced at the esteemed Japan International Boat Show, in Yokohama. This yacht will be the first production to use the design language of Lexus, the L-finesse. According to Shigeki Tomoyama, Toyota’s Executive Vice President, this vessel was fueled to “present a dream-like vision of the luxury lifestyle; one where the Lexus Yacht expands the potential of Lexus mobility to the ocean.”
She was manufactured by Marquis-Larson Boat Group. The yacht features an 18.8-foot beam and 1,800 standard horsepower. Accommodating up to 15 individuals, she also has three staterooms with private baths, quarters for crew and the main deck surrounded by windows.
According to the renowned car manufacturer, the yacht will also feature a strong and pronounced bow, curved deck accents and accentuated aft hips. The LY 650 Yacht is expected to hit the U.S. market in the upcoming year.
