This year has been quite extraordinary and innovative towards the yachting industry, numerous yacht designs and concepts have already been released, and the result is super progressive and outlandish from what many are accustomed to seeing. Today, Luxury Yachts will feature 6 contemporary vessels that are prepared to face many ventures in the seas, including concepts commisioned by Oceanco and Heesen Yachts, so take a look.
Tuhura by Oceanco
Commisioned by the renowned yacht builder, Oceanco, this substantial concept involved a more extreme approach when it comes to hull design. The 115m takes the shape of a colossal canoe, inspired by the traditional Maori vessels, with a curvaceous light coloured hull, which in turn was paired with a dark gloss superstructure and a wraparound single-level deck. The sleek exterior was perfected by Labanov Design and Achille Salvagni Designs oversaw the interiors, which feature a spacious open-plan and materials like tatami and teak floors while bronze and gunmetal were used to add a warmer ambience.
47m concept FOR.TH by Arcadia
Featuring a rough and militaristic style, 47m concept FOR.TH was designed by Arcadia and is distinguished by an extensive use of glass and the faceted, geometric forms of the superstructure. Due to Arcadia’s architectural approach, this concept will incorporate a series of external terraces and many other enticing outdoor spaces.
