The anticipated 72nd edition of the Cannes Festival has finally started and it has managed to overwhelm this lovely French city with the most amazing stars on the planet. It began May 14th, and it will take place until May 25th, ending near the end of the month.

The launch of the Cannes Festival took place on Grand Théâtre Lumière, with Javier Bardem and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The Feature Film Jury was composed by Kelly Reichardt, Elle Fanning, Maimouna N’Diaye, Alice Rohrwacher, Enki Bilal, Robin Campillo, Yorgos Lanthimos and Paweł Pawlikowski. The event also took the chance to pay its respects to late film director, Agnès Varda, having presented a tribute poster, as well as a song titled “Sans Toi”, performed by Angèle, and composed by Michel Legrand.

Throughout its every edition, the Cannes Festival of Cinema has been known for being made out of an incredible combination of some new outstanding films, as well as giving us a glimpse into a whole new world of fashion and elegance throughout the festival days. Every year several renowned celebrities, as well as other relevant film directors and producers, march through the amazing red carpets showing a glimpse into what’s hot or not within the world of luxury fashion.

The Cannes Festival still remains as one of the most star-studded festivals being filled with a series of amazing elements such as film excellence, fashion, and, of course, glamour.
