Aside from a couple of brands that you definitely can’t miss, there are a couple of special events around the city regarding many prestige names related to luxury furniture and interior design. So if you want to have a look at a couple of products and trends to redecorate either your living room or your luxury yacht this article will help you.

COVET House

Essential Home
Essential Home is the epitome of bohemian elegance and design. It’s mid-century modern lines that merge important historical references from the 1930s and 1960s and with contemporary influences. This will give Milan Design Week a little vintage style!

Fendi Casa
Created in 1989, Fendi Casa is known for its unique luxurious furniture and prestigious design objects. During Salone del Mobile make sure you also don’t miss the showroom that they have in Milan city. This Italian brand is definitely one you can’t afford to miss at Salone del Mobile if you love to glance upon some of the finest lighting products ever.

Rug’Society
Rug’Society is an exquisite Portuguese brand of Rugs and covering selections, that mainly aims to transform rugs into pieces of art. They’re known for having a connotation to the eclectic style tackling that style with a bold and contemporary design.

Zanotta
Zanotta is a wonderful Italian brand widely known by its furniture products with elements from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They are also a contemporary brand that makes some of the best luxury furniture pieces for the living room. Don’t miss this one if you go to Salone del Mobile.

Boca do Lobo
Haute Craftsmanship & Luxury Inspiration are at Boca do Lobo´s DNA! At Milan Design Week they will present a strong showcase of stunning pieces and incredible pieces. Molteni&C
Molteni Group will also be present at Salone del Mobile where they will be launching the Molteni&C|Dada new collections. Not only that, but they are also planning to have a Ron Gilad installation at Palazzo di Brera intitled “50 Years Commitment to Architecture”.

B&B Italia
Based on Novedrate (Como), north of Milan B&B Italia is one of the leading Italian companies in the international world of designer furniture. They create pieces for both home (B&B Italia Home Division) and contract (B&B Italia Contract Division).
CIRCU

XXII Triennale di Milano
The XXII International Exhibition of La Triennale di Milano has started on the 1st of March and it will go on until the 1st of September. The full title of the exhibition is Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival, being complemented by 22 International Participations that provide different perspectives regarding the connections between humans and nature.
Superstudio
This is one of Tortona’s biggest showcases during Milan Design Week counting with a huge area of 15.000 sq.mt which welcomes over 100.000 registered visitors every year. Over the course of the years during Milan Design Week, this event has seen some of the top companies and designers participate. If you’re in Milan during this period don’t miss the chance to stop by Superstudio Più, via Tortona 27, Milan.
Cocktail at Illulian’s showroom
Illulian is one of the main brands set to be present at Salone del Mobile Milano, specifically at the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition at Hall 7, L18. This year, some of the main partnerships that will join Illulian in a special event are Moet & Chandon, Porsche and Boca do Lobo. Don’t miss the chance to see some of the finest luxury pieces of these three brands in one room.

“Breeze of Light” by Daikin and Nendo
For 2019, Daikin presents “Breeze of Light”, an initiative which will be consisting of an air-related installation created by Nendo through its flexible concept. According to Daikin, this installation will evoke the sensation of a comfortable breeze obtained through the movement of light and shadows, without the use of air for the effect.
Tom Dixon’s new showroom in Milan
The Manzoni consists of the new 100-cover restaurant has been created by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio. Its pre-opening is set to happen during Milan Design Week, revealing both a restaurant and a showroom. During the opening of this new establishment, Tom Dixon himself will be showing off three specific new collections: Fat (a chair adaptable to any sitting position), Spring, and Opal (both lightings works by the designer).
