4. HILMA HOOKER, BONAIRE, CARIBBEAN

The Hilma Hooker wreck is a 70m cargo ship that was deliberately sunk off the Caribbean island’s southern coast in 1984. Before she sank, the ship had been confiscated by police after 25,000 pounds of marijuana were found on board.
She rests at a depth of almost 30 metres but the waters are so clean and clear that it is not necessary to dive all the way to the shipwreck. She is encrusted with coral growth and offers a good variety of small and large marine life.
