2018 was one good year for yacht builders around the world and there were many new and wonderful projects built! So in a throwback to the year that passed, we bring you a list with the top 5 biggest yachts built in 2018.
Crescent from Lurssen
2018 was one good year for Lurssen, seen as they launched one of the largest superyachts ever. Not much is known about Crescent, but she’s said to have a retractable helicopter hangar and a large swimming pool with a glass bottom.
Crescent is also said to have a two-level glass atrium inside. It’s predicted to have the capacity to accommodate 18 guests with a crew of more than 24 people.

Ulysses from Kleven
Right now Ulysses is the largest expeditionary yacht in the world. It took four years to build it until it was finally delivered to New Zealand based billionaire Graeme Hart.
The interior design was made by British studio RWD. She has the capacity to carry 66 people on board and boasts an impressive selection of high-speed vessels for research.

Project TIS from Lurssen
This 111 m / 364′3″ luxury motor yacht had its interior and exterior design worked on by Andrew Winch Design. It has 11 cabins for all of the guests as well as a beam with 16.85 meters allowing the creation of three-dimensional interiors.
Project TIS, aside from being a good yacht for hosting large parties, also comes with a six-deck luxury yacht, 2 helicopter pads, a 12-meter pool, and a spa resort aft.

Anna from Feadship
On the 4th spot in our list comes the luxurious 110-meter superyacht ANNA. Brian McCarthy Inc. and Michael Leach Design handled this ship’s interior design while the naval architecture was made by De Voogt Naval Architects.
It’s not yet confirmed though if this ship has a side-loading tender garage and a fold-out superyacht beach club, despite its hatches in the topsides being a strong hint for those features.

Project Bravo from Oceanco
Built by Oceanco, this 109 m / 357′8″ luxury motor yacht is one of the largest yachts to have been built in the Netherlands. The exterior design was made by Nuvolari Lenard while the interior design was handled by Reymond Langton Design.
She has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and is powered by MTU engines allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 17.50 knots.
