2019 so far has been a good year when it comes to the release of some new and innovative yacht concepts. There are many new possibilities in this area yet to be unveiled but we’ve decided to show you four of the most extravagant yacht concepts released so far. Prepare to be confused and amazed at the creative ideas behind these four special and potential vessels.
Carat 187
This is a dramatic 187ft superyacht concept created by an international design team that has won many awards for past projects. For this case, the design team wanted something atypical, exaggerated, and ultra-luxurious. And so in came Carat 187.
Among the most special features of this vessel are the sleek and (seemingly windowless) silver hull, as well as the beautiful cascading crimson staircases at the rear of the ship which are sure to remind many people of a red carpet at a ceremony like the Oscars or the Grammy’s. This ship will also be having a spacious sun deck that will have the capacity to retract and reveal a heated pool making this a perfect setting for parties on the sea. She will be having five luxurious guest rooms, plus a huge master suite that will be overlooking the ship’s theater and bar
Esquel
Oceanco’s new project was created with the purpose of exploring new territories, being the example of a perfect fusion between an expedition vessel and a superyacht. One of the main features of this ship will be its 230 square-meter tender garage with enough space for fast ribs, varietal tenders, and all of the owner’s watersports toys.
Going to the main deck one can find an aft deck glass superstructure with an enclosed pool and even a wellness area that will amaze guests with the astounding panoramic views.
Goliath Alexis
This superyacht designed by Steve Kozloff aside from being another example of a perfect vessel to go out and exploring on an adventure, it has many modern and relevant features going for it. Among them the two pools with retractable covers in order to avoid the trouble of draining the water.
Some other relevant and practical features involve some heated handrails and doors with the purpose of mitigating icing problems in colder areas and also an unusually large tender garage with the capacity to hold two submarines, as well as multiple tenders from the owner. There are also there are four “freefall” lifeboats prepared for launching under all conditions.
Project Valkyrie
Lastly, we have this huge superyacht that covers around seven decks and will be able to provide some amazing panoramic 180 views regardless of all weather conditions (sunny or rainy). At the lower deck, there will be a helipad, an alfresco lounge and dining area and a swim platform that will extend to the beach club.
