The pitch: Fishing enthusiasts Ryan and Brandon Austin felt they just couldn’t quite get close enough to the action of the sport they love so they invented the GoFish Cam. A lightweight, underwater high-definition camera designed to sit on your fishing line, the GoFish is waterproof to 150 metres and is suitable for trolling, cast-and-retrieve and bottom fishing in both fresh and salt water places meaning you can take it to all the best places in the world to fish.

Cost: The brothers plan to raise $55,000 from backers who can pledge anything from $1 – $10,000.

Return: Depending on how much you pledge, backers will receive anything from a personalised thank you email up to a package including ten GoFish cameras, five sets of GoFish T-shirts, sunglasses and hats, a custom sponsor profile on the GoFish website and a fishing trip including flights and accommodation.
