Meteor, a yacht built by Dutch yard Royal Huisman, has been listed for sale for around 15 million euros. Get to know a little more about this ship born in 2007.
This ship, created and delivered in 2007 by superyacht builder Royal Huisman, received three awards in the 2008 World Superyacht Awards, specifically ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’, ‘Best Exterior Styling – Sail Yacht’ and ‘Best Sailing Yacht in 45m+ size range’. It was last refitted in 2017 and right now it’s currently on sale for about 15 million euros.
It has the conditions to accommodate six guests in three cabins and it can have a crew of 12 people in seven cabins. It has a main saloon with a large fireplace and library, one master cabin, two identical guest cabins, and two varnished deck houses. Both the guests and the crew members will have the chance to be accommodated in a space of absolute luxury.
We should also point out that Meteor has an inside look that is often defined as “nostalgic”, “classical” and “warm”. The cozy atmosphere is definitely the reflection of the combined efforts of interior designers John Munford and Pauline Nunns. One example is the way the living room of the yacht is bathed by the light of a centreline beveled glass skylight, which can be a visually stunning and warm experience.
Despite the exterior being what gave Meteor one of its awards, there is no denying that the timeless styling, the elegant furnishings and a specific collection of artwork dedicated to the sea make the interior of the ship inviting and cozy for those who can have the chance of socializing inside.
