Lastly, we have a more minimalistic concept of a staircase with the vessel Barbara. The root may go unnoticed to some but there was a lot of thought put into that detail. Conceived by Australian designer Sam Sorgiovanni, to create this beautiful image a combination of teak and stainless steel was used. The result can be seen on the right side of the image in a root that seems to grow out of the lower deck.
