Gold, crystal and furls are all over La Belle, the first superyacht concept designed “only” for ladies. The luxury yacht concept is the work of the Monaco-based designer Lidia Bersani.

The superyacht La Belle, and just a concept at this stage, is 80-metre curved boat flamboyantly finished with masses of gold, furs and crystals. Decorated in what Bersani terms her distinctive “romantic and warm” style, the yacht interior holds an abundance of lavish features. Spread over five decks, attractions on board include multiple lounges and dining spaces, some with space to host live music performances.
Additionally there’s a fitness club with Jacuzzi, library with fireplace, disco, cinema and “a few bars”. A spa will include a conventional sauna and infrared sauna, alongside a snow room and hydromassage pool; a separate beauty centre is presumably another of the features targeted at female owners, though men won’t be banned from coming on board.
Outdoor areas are ample, too. Each deck will include zones for relaxing and sunbathing, while the main deck will include a swimming pool. Most striking of all, should the designer’s plans be realised, is the helicopter in metallic gold that could be accommodated on the yacht’s rooftop helipad.

Were La Belle to be built today, it would be one of the world’s 100 biggest superyachts but as of yet there are no plans for its development.
Plans for La Belle come at a time when the superyacht industry is innovating greatly. Savannah, the world’s first hybrid superyacht, was launched last month.
