The prestigious Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is one of the biggest events in the industry and in a couple of weeks, the event will be held at a new location, Dubai Canal, from February 27 to March 3, 2018. The former venue, Dubai Harbour is being renowned in order to be the largest marina in the Middle East, having 1,400 berth spaces. Today, Luxury Yachts will talk about a few things one should expect before the event starts.

While this change is temporary, the Dubai Canal is actually a perfect location for the esteemed luxury yacht and sailing industry event, because not only does it has 3.2-km. long waterway runs from the creek in Old Dubai, through Business Bay and into the Arabian Gulf but also since its inception in 2016, this venue contributed even more for Dubai to be seen as a world-class maritime destination.

Dubai Canal will allow organisers to create an even greater event in a creative environment for of opportunities, especially for partners and exhibitors to demonstrate their new products, from spectacular luxury superyachts to sailing boats as well as fishing vessels, water stunts and the technology and luxury are bound to be in the mix, as a matter of fact, two new specialized areas have been welcomed, the Future of Yachting and Luxury Boulevard that promise to deliver in regards to novelties and trends.

Also returning to the event will be the SYBAss Area that will once again feature the world’s best yacht builders, including the likes of Amels, Feadship, Heesen, Lurssen, Oceanco and several others. Furthermore, the Marina Display promises to showcase some of the regional favourites, such as Gulf Craft as well as Art Marine, representing Ferreti Ferretti group and Riva. You can also expect plenty of news from leading names like Princess Yachts, Montecarlo Yachts and Sunseeker.

Every year, Dubai International Boat Show attracts around 350 exhibitors, 800 brands/companies and thousands of visitors from all over the world. As it is tradition, the new venue will display a series of new boats and interactive activities for all individuals to adventure in. It also provided unprecedented access to surrounding business and leisure hubs such as DIFC, DWTC and Business Bay, as well as residential communities such as Downtown Dubai.
