The Monaco Yacht Show is regarded as one of the main platforms when it comes to the superyacht industry. The new exceptional edition has already started and is scheduled to end tomorrow. As of a right now, more than 120 stunning vessels, tenders, among others, including around 40 premieres have been showcased, some of which were built by the world’s most esteemed brands, yacht builders and shipyards. Today, Luxury Yachts will show you some of the best moments that have happened so far.

H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco officially opened the 28th Monaco Yacht Show in a thrilling ceremony.

Lürssen has one of the most original stands at the show having the Lürssen charity painting in full effect where the proceeds will go to the Blue Marine Foundation in an effort to rescue and protect our oceans. Tim Heywood, Pascale Reymond and Carlo Novulari are some of the designers collaborating with Lürssen in this cause. The renowned shipyard also has the honour of presenting this year’s largest yacht, the stunning Kismet, which is on-water display at Porto Hercules.

Feadship is also displaying some of its most iconic vessels, including the extraordinary Aquarius and Air, which are two of the largest yachts to be in the exhibition.

FunAir has launched a series of inflatables at MYS, including the incredible Twin Escape. In addition, they are also presenting detachable loungers, a stable floor and sea stairs that guarantee maximum relaxation.

In regards to Monaco Yacht Show awards, which were hosted on Tuesday at Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel in Monte Carlo, the Illusion Yacht by the Chinese shipyard Pride Mega Yachts took home the MYS interior designer award, with interiors styled by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. The exterior design award went to Dar by Dutch shipyard, Oceanco. Lastly, the award for best environment was prized to 236-foot Solo, Tankoa Yachts’ latest yacht that made its worldwide debut at the prestigious festival.

While the yacht and boat show ends tomorrow, there’s plenty to see and enjoy, so make sure to attend this unique event that seeks to promote creativity and innovation in the yachting industry.
